#Peekaboo forest app tv
This is not a videogame or a TV show it’s an interactive storybook with exceptionally fine art. Adults will love the graphic, mid-century-modern illustrations by Charley Harper, with interludes from the changing seasons. Older children can try to guess the animals by clues, work on spelling, and can start to learn about the seasons and the interconnected web of life that is a living forest. Younger children will love playing peekaboo with animals, as they learn about cause and effect and familiarize themselves with the names and sounds of animals. Touch the vividly illustrated forest scenes to see charming animations, learn the names of animals, and hear the real sounds these creatures make in the wild.

#Peekaboo forest app free
(A free version, called Peekaboo Barn Lite, includes only three animals.) There' s also a sister app by the same developer called Peekaboo Forest, but I'm not a big fan, because it isn't as clear where to touch on the page to reveal animals. The exercise ends there, and you are taken back to the main menu to start over if you want. Then they go to sleep, and the moon comes out. Once you've seen them all, the barn door opens to reveal all the animals together. This app has about a dozen animals for you to scroll through. There is also an option to have the animal names read in Spanish, but only in an adult's voice. But if you do that, you might just be a grumpy spoilsport, because the kids' voices are adorable.

If you don't like the children's voices reading off the animal names, you can change to an adult's voice in Settings. The little girl who yells "Pig!!" should get a voice agent. This app is very cute, especially when you choose the child's voice to read off the animal names. A voice will clearly say the name of the animal. When you are ready for the big reveal, you touch the barn doors, and they open to show you a cartoon drawing of the animal. You hear an animal sound, and the object is to guess which animal is making said noise. When you start the app, you see a red barn on a field shaking up and down. Peekaboo Barn for iPhone tests your child's ability to recognize animals from the sounds they make.
